Finally it’s out on general release! The Beekeeper directly by David Ayres and staring Jason Statham is out on release! Part of this movie was filmed on Castle Farm and Lower Austin Lodge Farm back in 2022!

We welcomed over 175 crew for three and a half weeks… and staged the backdrop for the opening farm location for the movie.. locations included our wildflower fields, farm buildings, main farmhouse and grain store areas. We also worked with the excellent team at Farm Locations to negotiate the location requirements and requests from the start of recces in June through to the completion of filming in October.

Of course, alongside such a production brings with it a day to day feast of disruptions for general farming activity… including scaffolding and lights going up on buildings, intensive greens team planting, and the relocation of an entire silage pit of cattle food because a particular wall needed to be in shot! BUT - it was all achievable and brilliant to work alongside the team to bring the movie to life!
