Sowing the seeds for summer growth (Copy)

It all begins with an idea. And a planting plan! Every year before we sow our annual seeds, we carefully assess which varieties were popular last year - and the trends for the upcoming seasons.

This year we are planting over 12 separate floral areas specifically for photographic backdrops. Each area offers an array of colour and structure…. and means we can offer variety from delicate wildflowers.. alongside dramatic sunflowers!

One other benefit of our approach to floral planting, is that we do not harvest flowers in their prime - all the fields are left for seedbeds to develop - which brings its own advantages for wildlife. Bees, butterflies and flying insects who enjoy the pollen and nectar rich areas across the farmland.

We even have our own beehives for Wildflower Honey and Lavender Honey!
